Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju, is set to assemble a crucial All-Party Meeting with foundation leaders from both houses of Parliament during the Winter Session. The meeting will take place on 24th November 2024 at 11 AM in the Main Committee Room at Parliament House branch, New Delhi. The session will be handled by Defence Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh.
The Winter Session of Parliament is scheduled to start on 25th November 2024 and, counting on the needs of government business, may run until 20th December 2024. A key highlight of the session is that there will be no sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on 26th November 2024, as the nation observes "Constitution Day" in honor of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
This meeting marks an important initial step, as political leaders from various parties are expected to discuss the upcoming legislative agenda and coordinate on issues of national importance.(PR)
