In a heartening display of commitment towards community welfare, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Imphal East, organised a large-scale medical camp at Yambem Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Imphal East district, Manipur.

Over 1000 villagers from Yambem, Yaripok, Changamdabi, Andro, Angtha, and Top Chingtha benefitted from the initiative, which brought quality healthcare services right to their doorsteps. From young children to elderly citizens, the camp witnessed a heartwarming turnout, reflecting the pressing healthcare needs of the region.

The medical team was a formidable one -10 doctors, including five specialists in ENT, Gynaecology, and Dermatology, supported by dedicated staff from Yambem PHC and the CMO Office. Together with the Indian Army's medical experts, they conducted vital health screenings, offered consultations, and distributed essential medicines.

Specialists provided focused care, addressing long-standing issues that villagers often endure in silence due to lack of medical access. From chronic ailments to everyday health concerns, no case was too small for the compassionate team on ground.

The Indian Army's coordination with civil health authorities underscored a model example of synergy and service. Their efforts were not just about providing medical aid -it was about extending a healing touch, building trust, and reaffirming the spirit of nation building at the grassroots.

As villagers returned home with hope and gratitude, the event stood testimony to how the Indian Army continues to win hearts, not just battles.
