The Mehra Auditorium at the Military Institute of Technology (MILIT), Girinagar today, reverberated with inspiration as General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), addressed officers undergoing training at the Defence Services Technical Staff Course (DSTSC). General Dwivedi's speech, characterized by innovative wisdom and motivational passion, energized the student officers to prepare for the challenges of modern combat with perseverance and adaptability.

In his address, the COAS emphasized the rapidly developing nature of warfare, highlighting the significance of staying ahead in a world where the dynamics of conflict are always changing. He explained defense preparedness as an art form—demanding precision, strategy, and ingenuity. He called upon the officers to display versatility and strength, aligning with the Indian Army’s ongoing transformational measures.

General Dwivedi highlighted the Indian Army’s vital role in nation-building, mentioning instances of its humanitarian assistance during natural disasters and successful evacuation missions in conflict zones.
