The Centre for Joint Warfare Studies and Indian Military Review will jointly host the Defence Partnership Days on 28-29 November 2024 in New Delhi. This landmark event aims to bridge the gap between the Armed Forces and industry by promoting strategic arrangements and collaborations.
The event will promote targeted business-to-government (B2G) and business-to-business (B2B) meetings, offering a unique opportunity for stakeholders to interact and explore partnership opportunities. General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff, will inaugurate the event alongside Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (Defence Production).
- Participation: Over 200 companies and 100 senior officers from the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces, including samples from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Coast Guard, will attend.
- Exhibition: A showcase of cutting-edge defence technologies and solutions by 75 companies, demonstrating the industry’s potential to support national defence capabilities.
Prime contractors, Original Supplies Manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, service providers, MSMEs, start-ups, industry companies, and investors will hire directly with key procurement officers. Discussions will focus on indigenization, Make-I and Make-II projects, import substitution, problem-solving, and possibilities related to General Staff Qualitative Requirements (GSQRs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
The event will serve as a medium to explore answers that maintain the powers of the Armed Forces while also providing businesses with routes for growth and innovation.
