The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Shardul has successfully wrapped up its port visit to Rashid Port, Dubai, marking a significant step in enhancing maritime cooperation between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The visit, which is part of a long-range training deployment, featured a range of key engagements aimed at strengthening ties between the two nations.

During its time in Dubai, personnel from INS Shardul engaged in various activities, including interactions with the UAE Navy, cross-training visits, and community outreach efforts. Sea trainees from the ship participated in organized visits to the Naval Officers Training Academy and the UAE Naval Ship, facilitating professional interactions and fruitful discussions on shared knowledge and training methodologies.

Highlights of the visit also included joint training sessions, yoga activities, and friendly sports fixtures that fostered camaraderie between the naval forces of both countries. A formal reception was held onboard INS Shardul, attended by UAE Navy personnel, diplomats, and esteemed members of the Indian community in Dubai.

Following the port call, INS Shardul engaged in a Maritime Partnership Exercise with the UAE Naval Ship Al Quwaisat. The two ships executed a series of naval maneuvers, communication drills, and coordinated movements, showcasing their mutual coordination and interoperability.
